Atropine Treatment
Ideal for younger patients, Atropine Therapy slows the progression of myopia via a medicative drop. Atropine is dosed once daily and the strength of the eye drop is chosen depending on the severity of the patients myopic progression. Patients will need to be monitored every few months (duration determined by the doctor based on age, prescription, physical growth etc.)
Multifocal Contact Lenses
Ideal for myopia control from age 6 and up. Studies show young children have great success with insertion, removal, handling. They also have the lowest risk of infection compared with teens, young adults and adult populations.

Orthokeratology
Ortho-K, also known as cornea refractive therapy, is a process that uses custom made retainers to temporarily reshape the cornea contour. It can be used to correct vision problems, such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and sometimes presbyopia. Orthokeratology is an alternative for those who want to say farewell to contact lenses and eyeglasses, along with those who prefer not to undergo eye laser surgery, like LASIK.
It’s also a great option for children with myopia! Retainers are worn at night while sleeping and removed in the morning to reveal excellent vision.
